Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data 4.1 Principles Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, contract, booking and billing data that express the identity of a person. We only collect, process and use personal data (including IP addresses) if there is a legal basis for doing so or if you have given us your consent to do so, for example, as part of a registration.

4.2 Processing Purposes and Legal Basis We and service providers commissioned by us process your personal data for the following processing purposes:

Provision of this online service (legal basis: fulfillment of contract). To identify disruptions and for security reasons (legal basis: fulfillment of our legal obligations in the field of data security and legitimate interest in rectifying disruptions and securing our offerings). 4.4 Log Files When you use the internet, certain information is automatically transmitted by your internet browser and stored by us in so-called log files. We store the log files for a short period of time for the purpose of identifying disruptions and security reasons (e.g. to investigate attempted attacks) and then delete them. Log files that need to be kept for evidence purposes are exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified and may, in individual cases, be passed on to investigating authorities.

  • Transferred data volume;
  • Operating system and information about the Internet browser used, including installed add-ons (e.g. for the Flash Player);
  • http status code (e.g. “request successful” or “requested file not found”).

5. Disclosure of data

5.1 Disclosure of data to other data controllers We generally only disclose your personal data to other data controllers if it is necessary for the performance of a contract, we or the third party have a legitimate interest in the disclosure, or you have given your consent. Details on the legal basis can be found in the section on processing purposes and legal basis. Third parties may also include other companies of Delari GmbH. If data is disclosed to third parties based on a legitimate interest, this will be explained in this privacy policy. Furthermore, data may be disclosed to other data controllers if we are obliged to do so by law or by enforceable official or court orders.

5.2 Service providers (in general) We commission external service providers with tasks such as sales and marketing services, contract management, payment processing, programming, data hosting, and hotline services. We carefully select and regularly monitor these service providers, especially their careful handling and securing of the data stored with them. All service providers are obliged by us to maintain confidentiality and to comply with legal requirements. Service providers may also include other companies of Delari GmbH.

5.3 Disclosure to recipients outside the EEA We may also disclose personal data to recipients located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), so-called third countries. In this case, we ensure before the disclosure that the recipient either has an adequate level of data protection (e.g., due to an adequacy decision by the European Commission for the respective country or the agreement of so-called EU standard contractual clauses with the recipient) or you have given your consent to the disclosure. 6.Duration of Storage; Retention Periods

We generally store your data for as long as it is necessary for the provision of our online services and related services, or as long as we have a legitimate interest in further storage (e.g. we may have a legitimate interest in postal marketing even after fulfilling a contract). In all other cases, we delete your personal data, except for data that we must continue to store to fulfill legal obligations (e.g. we are obliged to retain documents such as contracts and invoices for a certain period of time due to tax and commercial retention periods).

9. Use of Retargeting Tools

9.1 To optimize our online marketing, we use retargeting technologies. This is intended to make the Internet offer more interesting and tailored to your needs.

9.2 By using cookies, in which your interest in our products and services is stored, as well as by analyzing your usage behavior, we can provide you with personalized and interest-based advertising on the websites of our retargeting partners such as Google AdWords. However, this is done anonymously, so that you cannot be identified through retargeting.

9.3 If you do not want Delari GmbH and its retargeting partners to use the relevant retargeting cookies, please follow point 8.2.

10. Use of Conversion Tracking

10.1 To make our online offering as attractive as possible for our users, we use the so-called conversion tracking.

10.2 Our conversion tracking partners, such as Google AdWords, use a cookie for this analysis service on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you have accessed our website via an advertisement from the respective partner. These cookies expire after 30 days. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and the respective conversion tracking partner can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our site. The cookies cannot be tracked on our website. The information obtained through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics and to determine the total number of users who clicked on the relevant ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. 11. Use of Analytical Tools

11.1 For the websites, Bosch Power Tools carries out access measurements with web analysis tools such as WebTrends and Tealium.

11.2 When selecting the analysis tools, we ensure that these access data are recorded exclusively in an anonymous form so that no connection to a user can be made. This is done in particular by anonymizing the IP address. Cookies are used for measurement in order to enable the analysis of website usage. In particular, Delari GmbH can improve data quality.

12. Use of Social Plugins

12.1 Delari GmbH uses social plugins of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+ on its websites and mobile applications. These are buttons such as the “Facebook Like button”.

12.2 With the so-called 2-click method, we protect you from your visit to our websites being automatically recorded and evaluated by social network providers. If you access a page of our website that contains such plugins, they are initially deactivated. Only when you click the button provided, the plugins are activated. With this activation, you establish a connection to the respective social network and declare your consent to the transmission of your data. When you click the respective button, the corresponding information is directly transmitted from your browser to the respective social network and stored there. If you want to stop the transmission, you must deactivate the plugin again.

12.3 If you are logged in to a social network, it can also link the visit to your account there. If you do not want the relevant social network to link the data collected during your visit with your stored member data, you must log out of the respective network before activating the social plugin button.

13. Social Sign In (registration via social networks)

We offer you the possibility to register in our online offer with so-called social sign-ins such as Facebook Connect and Twitter. For registration, you will be redirected to the page of the respective social network where you can log in with your data there. This results in your account of the respective network being linked to our service. In doing so, the information from your public profile there, your email address, and the identification codes of your network friends, as well as any other data, are transmitted to us by the relevant social network. Conversely, the social network provider or its server may be located outside the EU or EEA (e.g., in the USA). If you do not want data to be transmitted between us and the social networks, do not register via the social registration services, but instead use our own registration services.

14. YouTube

This online offer uses the video platform YouTube, which is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). YouTube is a platform that allows the playback of audio and video files. When you access a corresponding page of our offer, the embedded YouTube player establishes a connection to YouTube so that the video or audio file can be transmitted and played. In doing so, data is also transmitted to YouTube as the controller. We are not responsible for the processing of this data by YouTube. 15. Newsletter

15.1 Newsletter with registration; right of revocation You can subscribe to newsletters as part of our online offer. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure, according to which we will only send you a newsletter by email, mobile messaging services (such as WhatsApp), SMS or push notification after you have expressly confirmed the activation of the newsletter service by clicking on a link in a notification. We offer you the opportunity to become a member of one of our Bosch Power Tools communities (such as the BoB or MyBosch community). There, you can register, create a user profile, and communicate with other members. You can revoke this consent at any time. Via an input mask in the respective community, you have the option to choose whether individual information from your user profile should be made public to all members of the community or only to your “community friends” or kept private.
